We rescue excellent quality denim from ending up in waste streams and extend its life through Upcycling, by putting it back into circulation in the form of artfully tailored or expertly refurbished styles.

6 billion pairs of jeans are made every year for a planet of 8 billion people. 30% aren’t worn even once. The manufacturing of denim fabric and garments is resource-intensive—making one pair of jeans can use up to 3600 litres of water and emit 15 kg of CO₂.

Un Denim was created by Joono Simon and Sujith Sudhakaran as a response to the fashion waste crisis. Together with a passionate, planet-loving team, Un Denim is on a mission to re-script the way India, and the world, chooses, wears and values denim in their lives.
